if f(x)= 3-x / x^2+4 and g(x)=3x, evaluate the following:

1) f(g(x))
2) g(f(x))

Answer
if by this you mean

f(x) = (3 - x)/(x^2 + 4)
g(x) = 3x

f(g(x))
f(3x) = (3 - (3x))/((3x)^2 + 4)
f(3x) = (3 - 3x)/(9x^2 + 4)
f(3x) = (-3x + 3)/(9x^2 + 4)
f(g(x)) = (-3x + 3)/(9x^2 + 4)

2.)
g(f(x))
g((3 - 3x)/((3x^2) + 4)) = 3((3 - x)/((x^2 + 4)))
g((3 - 3x)/((3x^2) + 4))) = (9 - 3x)/(x^2 + 4)
g((3 - 3x)/((3x^2) + 4))) = (-3x + 9)/(x^2 + 4)
