Question
Hi-
I have a homework assignment do tonight and I am a little confused about the function f(x)=3.
Is it even or neither even nor odd. I understand how to solve even and odd functions but this "simple" one confuses me b/c there is no value of x to solve for.

thanks of your help!

Answer
this seems like its an even function, since f(x) = 3 is the same as y = 3. Its like a parabola, only the parabola has been flatten out. Just like a parabola that is an even function, the "x" value is unlimited, and you have a +y and a -y where "y" is the same, only the signs change.
