Question
1) on a circle of radius 10 m, how long is an arc that subtends a central angle of a) 4(pi)/5 radians? b) 110 degrees?

Answer
a.)
s = r(theta)
s = 10((4pi)/5)
s = (40pi)/5
s = 8pi

b.)
s = r(alpha(pi/180))
s = 10((110pi)/180)
s = (1100pi)/180
s = (110pi)/18
s = (55pi)/9
