Question
Hello,
you answered a question posted on line with text that included:
"^n is to represent powers, like x^2 = x to the power of 2, or just say "x" squared."
my question is, if "sqared" refers to "the power of 2":
is there a single word reference to the "power of 3",
the "power of 4" and so on...

may seem like a silly question, however, I do have a purpose for the answer in mind. Thank you!

Answer
yes there is.

squared = ^2
cubed = ^3
quartic = ^4

the rest i don't think there really is a name for it, other than nth power, whereas "n" stands for any number.

There might be a name for them.
