Question
what is in parenthesis 6 times 10 to the second power end parenthesis times parenthesis 0 point 25 times 10 to the third power end parenthesis ..
thank you for your patience.

Answer
(6 * 10^2)(0.25 * 10^3)

(6 * .25) * 10^(2 + 3)

1.5 * 10^5

this works because everything is being multiplied. Also when you are multipling like values with exponents, all you have to do is add the exponents together.

the formula is n^a * n^b = n^(a + b)

so if you have a negative value, then

n^a * n^(-b) = n^(a - b) instead of n^(a + b), because of n^(a - b) is the same as saying n^(a + (-b))
