Question
1) solve 3- csc x=7 for 0 <= x < 2pi. give answers to the nearest hundredth of a radian.

Answer
Just to let you know, to do this, i had my calculator set in Degree Mode, then when i got the answer, i changed it to Radian Mode to get the answer.

3 - csc(x) = 7

subtract 3 from both sides

-csc(x) = 4

divide both sides by -1

csc(x) = -4

csc(x) = (1/(sin(x)))

(1/(sin(x))) = -4

multiply both sides by sin(x)

1 = -4sin(x)

divide both sides by -4

sin(x) = (-1/4)

inverse sin both sides

x = -.252680355

ANS : x = -.25 radians
