Subject: exploding firecracker in Kings Quest 7

Question
Read your answer to somebody else on this subject.  You said to keep moving, move as far as possible before you die.  Can't get anywhere before I die.  Is there a patch for this problem. I bought the collection with seven games.  Thanks so much for any help.

Answer
Sierra put in these timed puzzles but set them to the cpu speed. On an old system this worked fine, but on the newer PC's your time runs out to fast. You can try running a LOT of different programs in the background (virus check etc.), or I've heard of a utility to help it run slower called MoSlo (I've included the link at the bottom of this email). I've never used MoSlo, but the site explains what it does. One idea, which is a pain in the neck, is to keep doing the firecracker over and over and over and over. You should SLOWLY move closer to the crypt.

Good Luck!
Jan
