Jan I went to my cdrive and there is no file the longest journey in there.IF I can,t delete these files it won't let me install this game iT WILL NOT DELETE IN THE PROGRAMS
I am totally confused with this issue but I thank you for your help

 Try this:
You can install or uninstall the software from the game front-end menu. Place the DVD in the drive and the auto run option will load the front-end menu. Choose to uninstall the software from here.

There is also an uninstall option for the game at the following location.

From your Windows Desktop go to Start > Programs ( All Programs ) > Fandom > The Longest Journey > Uninstall the Longest Journey
