About Wayne
Expertise
Pretty much anything that doesn`t include cheats. I can answer questions on strategy, which NPC`s are best to have, equipment, rules, and solutions to about 90% of the quests.
Greatest Achievements: I was able to clear out the Iron Throne area with just my main character - and without taking a scratch in the battle.

Question
Your greatest achievement seems pretty unbelieveble.  With which character did you do it and at what level? I have the cheats for BG 1+2 but is there anything that you can tell me to help?  Oh, and why can Edwin memorize more spells than me?  Thanks a  lot.  Hoping to here from you soon.

Answer
Interestingly enough, regarding the Iron Throne, after replaying Baldur's Gate 1 many many times I was never able to repeat that feat. In fact, I got obliterated a few times, so either I was extremely lucky or the Iron Throne encounter was made tougher with some of the recent patches.

I did it with a human Fighter, don't recall the level at the moment, but I believe it was the max. He was fully equipped with the best magic items, and I had my mage and cleric cast all sorts of defensive/speed/offensive spells on him. I suppose it is a bit misleading saying that it was just my main character - I had a full party, I just buffed up my main character, then went up the stairs, slaughtered everyone, and then brought the rest of the group up.

As far as spell memorization, that is effected by your mage's intelligence. The higher your Int, the more spells you can memorize. If it is 19 or higher (I think) then there is no limit to the number of spells your mage can memorize.

Hope this helps!

Wayne
