Question So, all the walkthroughs that I have seen say that you should pick up the lit firecracker from in front of the brats' house, and then walk to the crypt, but every time I do that, I blow up! How do I keep this from happening?

Answer Are you walking 2 screens left or west after you get the firecracker? You have to move as quickly as possilbe and use the firecracker on the door. It may be that you don't have an item you need to go further. Do you have the femur bone and the horsemans medal?
