Don't know if you can help, I am trying to install FarCry and I get the following message: EXPLORER CAUSED GENERAL PROTECTION FAULT IN MODULE KRNL386.EXE AT 0001:000075A8

I then can't get any further and have to restart the computer....any suggestions what I can do?

I am not familiar with the game FarCry.  However, try uninstalling the game completely, and delete any files and folders related to the game, reboot if any.  Try installing the game again.

You could have a virus, update your scanner and run a scan on your local hard drives.
