AboutMeg Darling Expertise I can help with most Adventure games from small hints to complete walkthroughs. I`ve finished/beat
all the popular games including Myst, Riven, and the Gabriel Knight series without help.

Question I have returned to Serenia but cannot access a
spirit guide although I have brought the right object to win, fire, and water. Further, I cannot remember what spirit was assigned me in the Hall of Spirits, and, when I return, there I cannot find out what the original spirit was. What's my problem, please, and how to I solve it?
Thanks.
Answer It is different for every game, but it is usually water. In my game I always found the Water Guide on the same spot near the linking book to Tomahna. If you don't find him there, you'll have to search for him to find him in one of the other pools.
1: because you can only take about five steps before a soap bubble disappears, you should find him in a pool near soap bubbles.
2: if you find the Water Guide far away from soap bubbles, scare him away until you see him in a pool near soap bubbles. Be careful not to scare him away again!!! Happy hunting...
3: you can only find the Water Guide in one of the circular water basins near the three waterwheels.
If that doesn't work, try using the same technique with the other elements. There is no way to re-gain this information (who your spirit guide is). I take it you don't have a saved game from right before it?
