Subject: What is the best way of preventing rushs in war3 as humans?

Question
I tried a lot of ways like building a lot of watch towers or just concentrating on my army but they didn't work. I like to play as humans but i always get beaten with early attacks, how can i prevent that?

Answer
Well with humans there's a great technique I apply from Warcraft 2, that is effective in warcraft 3.  The very first thing you want is an arcande tower with farms, and buildings in front of it, preferably with a rax nearby that'll be pumping out footmen, and an archmage.  The first upgrade from the archmage you want is the Water beast, that way you get an immediate unit to defend rushes.  You could develop a nice strategy from there.

Remember, location is very important, you must build your buildings to protect your hall, and your peasant miners.  Enemy units could easily go around and destroy your peasants, and that is a great strategy to attack with.

Good luck.
