Question
I've bought the marrowind  game of the year edition and when I go to install it, it asks if I want to install I say yes then it'll crash windows explorer till I eject the disk it does not even get into the installation of the game, I've tried to right click install it from the my computer, I've tried to let it run it's course and stared at the screen for 30 minutes waiting, I more then meet the recommended requirements and am at a total loss, yes I've disabled my virus software, I even watched the cpu monitor while it was attempting supposedly to install and it stayed at 0%.  Is there anything I can do? I run windows xp home edition if that assists at all in the answer

Answer
Ryan,
This is becoming a common problem with the installation of Morrowind. Follow these steps to hopefully clear up the problem:
Click on Start on your toolbar then select Control Panel
Now select Add/Remove Programs.
Delete the Morrowind file
Check your C: Drive for any files not deleted by the Add/Remove Programs. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, YOU MUST DELETE ALL MORROWIND FILES.
Shut your computer down and then restart.
Turn of virus protection and then try reinstalling Morrowind.
Enjoy my favorite game.

Good luck!
Jan
