1. the extend of stop action technique/effect in games
2. the market of it in past present future
3. some figures (how far it gone)
4. if possible some links pertaining it

I do not know of your stop action in PC games, and cartoons.  However today's games are going toward online multiplayer, a good example would be blizzard's new game World of Warcraft.  http://www.worldofwarcraft.com or www.blizzard.com.
