I am playing king quest mask of eternity.  I am stuck in a land where i can not go any further.  I am in the ice land, where you have to ride the dragon across the lake.  I have done every thing but save the man that is in the castle, behind the bars.  It looks like you have to put something in the lock on the wall.  Where would I find the lock to this door.

  That man is probably the Gryph king. Pull the lever on the other side of the room. This will create lightning.
Then exit to the balcony and jump off. This will automatically kill the guard. Pick up the key he drops and then climb back up and free the king. You will be attacked and fall through the ceiling, but don't worry, it's part of the game. Good luck!
