Question
Hay!! Its me againg, u gott me wrong when i asked the last question, i didnt mean i couldent learn more than six level 1 spells, i meant that i couldent memorice more than six, Is the a magical item that will make me able to cast more spells?
And, i have just started the game again (Bg2) with a fighter\Thief, do u think it will be more difficult? because it just gets half ex. points than a normal character. Whitch character NPC do u think, that helps more in Balgurs gate 1, and in 2? Well, thats all, thank u, hope to hear from u soon.

Answer
Ah, yes I did misunderstand you. As far as the number of spells you're allowed to memorize, that is dependent on your level - the higher the level, the more spells you can memorize. There are some magic items also that allow you to memorize extra spells, so if you're the same level as Edwyn and he can memorize more, then perhaps he has some of these items. Ring of Wizardry is one such item that comes to mind (you can wear two of them) so you may want to check his inventory.

A Fighter/Thief should be fine in BG2. I personally prefer the single classes in Baldur's Gate 2 because you will be able to choose from one of the 'kit' classes they added in this sequel. I imported my fighter from BG1 and converted him into a Berserker. I also converted another character into a Kensai. I'm more partial to fighter-types, but all of the classes will do just as well.

As far as NPC's, in BG1 I usually kept Yeslick, Coran, Minsc, Dynaheir, and Kivan. In BG2, I changed NPC's frequently, but again I kept Minsc, Aerie or Jaheira, and Keldorn with me the entire time.

Hope this helps

Pretty much anything that doesn`t include cheats. I can answer questions on strategy, which NPC`s are best to have, equipment, rules, and solutions to about 90% of the quests.
Greatest Achievements: I was able to clear out the Iron Throne area with just my main character - and without taking a scratch in the battle.
