Question
Hi. Can you tell me the difference between an Art Director at an ad agency and one that would work for a magazine? Thanks

Answer
Danielle,

The Art Director is typically paired with a creative partner - usually the writer but in publications it would be the editor. An art director is responsible for the creative product. The difference being between the two is that at an ad agency one would have many more clients.

Other than that I would not know of any additional difference.
