Question Your previous answers explaining net and gross are very helpful. My question is, are you seeing any new trends in how agencies bill with interactive advertising? Are they charging higher than 15% commission? Are they charging retainers instead? There are many options, I know, but it just sounds like the net rate preference by publishers (interactive and print) can lead to more, um, creative rate structures. Thoughts?
Answer When you say interactive agency are you referring to an interactive MEDIA agency or an interactive (WEB DEVELOPMENT) agency?
There are a number of ways to answer this. I believe it best to get clarification on the question above and frankly I wouldn't be able to tell you how a MEDIA agency would charge.
