The Academy of Art University has a great Ad program. The instructors are from the top ad agencies in the country. They have excellent connections and a great reputation in the industry. They have produced some major players over the last couple of years. Jason Sperling was the copywriter on "MAC vs PC" campaign. Mike Brenner and Greg Coffin won Best Emerging Talent from Adweek. Also Dayoung Ewart was responsible for the launching of Coke Zero ad campaign. Also, Melinda Mettler is the director of the advertising program and a advertising industry veteran who was once the VP at Ogilvey. Plus, you will be getting an accredited degree MFA or BFA (WASC-same accrediting body as UC BERKELEY, Stanford and other UC and State schoools). Not sure about Miami AD school accreditation or AI.

Do your research and most importantly call up some HR departments at Ad agencies here in the city and ask them directly. The Academy of Art University is no picnic either.
