Advertising/Favorite ad campaign

Question
Thanks for the advice about my application, it's almost complete. One last question: They ask me to tell them my favorite ad campaign and then suggest the next ad to go in that campaign. Do you think they'd be offended if I said my favorite campaign was of one of their competitors? I don't want to come off as a sycophant for choosing one of their campaigns though.

Answer
Well, agency folks can certainly appreciate work from other agencies. You just want to be sure that the campaign you like is consistent with the level of creative of your shop.

If you honestly like one of their campaigns better, I don't see reason why you have to avoid that.

Just be sure it's really a good campaign :-)
