Advertising/Flyer opinion

Question
Hi Peter,
I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on my auto touch-up service flyer. Thanks a lot!
Evan
AnswerNot bad but to be honest it looks like Junk mail. Some Junk Mail works. Do you only work on Mazda's? If not then come up with a more engaging headline. Don't place the $5.00 off with the headline.
How about a headline that says: Restore your car's original finish – like new (I'm not certain if you offer a detail service with the chip repair) if not then how about
Paint Chip Repair - Protect your investment
I would not quote the price on your flyer - give them a reason to call and I know that you will get the odd job where $25 is not going to cut it.
Remove the logo at the top - not required. Remove the word Mobile from you phone# - just say Call (503) 810-9965.
I would add your location in a fashion that shows where you will travel… for $25 are you going to fix my car? I'm in Canada and my Toyota could use some help. My guess is no.
Say: Serving Portland and Area, mobile service. Today you don't require the word Email - when people see the email address they know what it is.
Last point - If you really want to make impact, find a GOOD graphic designer (prefer a student as they won't charge a lot). They will set this up for you - there is too much black.
Get an idea by picking up several new car brochures and see how they lay them out. Communicate that to your designer.
Best of luck.
Pete
