Question
Hi Sean,
I was looking at your old answers and saw you reccommend some books to a student.  They were, "Hey Whipple.  Squeez This", by Luke Sullivan, "Ogilvy on Advertising" by David Ogilvy and "Advertising Design", by Robin Landa.  Since the question is a few years old I wanted to check if these we're still the best books to get.
Thanks,
  Peter

Answer
Mostly yes, Peter. I did sense that one preliminary lesson was missing from all of these books, so I wrote a short book to supplement them. My book is called "nets, locks and erasers.". It's cheap and short (available on Amazon) and it's where to start before reading the other three.
