QuestionHi again Sean!
Thank you so much for all your input; you have helped me look at various questions in a different perspective.
I was just curious, when I asked the 'age' question. Is entering the copywriting field at an age of 30-32 basically VERY unusual? Did you mention the difficulty of this based on the hours and pay or because employers generally don't hire copywriters at this age? I'm just trying to gain an understanding of how the industry works and how employers think. I do appreciate your honesty!
Also, I had some thoughts I wanted to run by you. As I advance in my career path, having a skilled and experienced mentor is crucial to one's success. You strike me as an honest, humble man who enjoys helping others. This is a rare, but priceless asset.
What are your thoughts on keeping in touch through periodic emails? I will be applying for an internship soon, and in order to get in I would like to put together a few campaigns, possibly even entering a contest. Can I send you my ideas/campaign concepts for review and critique? Maybe, just maybe we can work in an informal internship capacity with you and your firm's needs. Either way, I would like to keep our communication line open.
If your schedule doesn't permit this then I completely understand.
Thanks again!

AnswerHola...
Good morning. First off, thank you for the kind words. You can consider my virtual door always open -- I cannot promise the quality of my feedback, but I can easily pledge my willingness to offer it.
As to your age question, I was thinking more about your quality of life. Yes, pay will be low and you may be treated like an office supply. However, if this is your passion, there's no reason why age should stand in your way. Heck, if Chandler from "Friends" can break into advertising at 35, anything's possible.
Good luck on your quest. I'd love to hear about your progress.
