Question
Past winning entries in a competition known as the Wacky Warning Label Contest have included a label on an aerosol can that warns, "Caution: Do not spray in eyes," a notice on a baby carriage warning, "Remove child before folding" and a label on a clothes iron cautioning, "Never iron clothes while they are being worn." Who is the sponsor of this annual contest to find such seemingly nonsensical product labels?

I'm not familiar with the contest and have no idea who might sponsor it. I suspect, however, that you might find the answer you're seeking through a trade association or publication in the packaging industry. Most association executivew are members of the American Society of Association Executives. As I recall, they're headquartered in Washington and have a web site. Most libraries have one or more of the several periodical directories through which you'll be able to identify pertinent publications.
