I'm at a loss as to answer this question. Can you be a bit more detailed in your question? Please let me know from what angle you are coming from. What type of merchandise - consumer packaged goods, hardware, auto parts? In what setting? Big box store, grocery store, small retail environs? Where? Nationally, internationally or local? Is there a product promotion tie-in?

And we need to ask the big question regarding the merchandising plan - what is the advertising to do? Incite trial/retrial, get them to pantry load, increase their frequency of use, use the product in a different way or introduce a new product?

I will await your answers so that we can dig a bit deeper for you and get you the answer you need.
