Question
How do I get advertisers interested in advertising on my website?

Is there a service that connects people who want to advertise online to those who have websites where online banners might go?

Thanks.

Answer
Hi, Jordan!
Everything you want/need to know about web site advertising is in the introductory section of the SRDS guide, "Interactive Advertising Source" which is in many libraries, practically all ad agencies, and from the publisher at 847-375-5000.  SRDS will probably list your site at no charge, so check that with them.  To get advertisers, you have to suppply an audience of special interest at a cost that makes testing your site interesting.  The SRDS guide will tell you the competiton and what they charge.  That's about as much as I can suggest, other than the obvious of letting your audience know about your site through standard advertiswing and/or direc mail.
Good luck!
