Question
We are currently getting over 2000 hits per week on our site. www.finaltabletour.com
We would like to know what is the best approach to finding companies to advertise with us and is there a formula of what to charge!

Answer
2,000 hits per week is quite low actually - if it were daily I would be more impressed. It would not be difficult to get your visits up with a managed PPC (Pay per Click) campaign.

I know - you gotta spend to make. But PPC is a marvelous tool that can - if managed - give you predictable sales results.

We had a client that was spending nothing on PPC but since changed their practice to spend $1,600us per month on a managed PPC campaign. Why $1,600. Let me explain. They found that within 18 to 36 hours the $1,600 PPC allowance would generate on average $360,000 in sales per month. They scrambled for the balance of the month to service and fill these orders. All they had was 4 people and worked out of a basement.

Recently they have hired 4 new people and have increased their PPC budget. This steady, predictable sales model has been going steady now for 19 months.

As to a formula for media, you can create size specifications for the banners, super and interstitial ads based on  these sample sizes - Banners: 468x60, 120x600, 728x90 Button: 120x60, 120x90

All ads cost $25 per 1,000 views ($25 CPM).  All advertising fees are paid in advance.  Advertising is sold in $25 increments.  You may purchase as little as $25 worth of advertising or any multiple of $25.  Appropriate quantity for the number of views you are interested in purchasing.

I hope that this works for you and if we can be of any assistance with the PPC, please don't hesitate to call.
