Question
randallord@yahoo.com  vomitting from intense execise
what is happening phisologically that causes the vomit response at intense execise...sprinting and less known of weight lifting?

Answer
There could be a couple of things going on here. One thing could be dehydration and/or heat exhaustion. This is the case if extreme sweating is taking place during the exercise session. Another possibility could be something called a vagal reaction. This is when heart rate and blood pressure drops causing a feeling of nausea. At this point you could pass out. The last cause that comes to mind is called hyponatremia. That's when you have a drop in your bodies sodium concentrations.

You could have exercise induced vertigo as well.

During exercise make sure you are hydrating and following correct breathing techniques during weight lifting. I suggest lowering your exercise intensity.
