IM A 15 YO WANTING TO IMPROVE MY RUGBY FITNESS BEFORE NEXT SEASON WHICH WILL START IN AUGUST. WHAT COULD I DO TO IMPROVE MY FITNESS WITHOUT LOSING MUSCLE?

Almost any exercise and training program you do can be beneficial for improving your performance and athletic ability.  It comes down to what activities you like doing and enjoy doing, whether it is strength training, running, biking, skating, dancing, jump-roping, swimming, etc.

All exercise promotes maintaining or building muscle.  Being inactive is when you begin to lose muscle.
