Question
I've been walking/jogging for 6 days a week for 3 weeks. So when I tried on my favorite jeans they seemed more loose at the waist then they were before. so then I got on the scale but my weight was still the same. why is that?

Hi Brianna-
Thanks for the question, I would just like to mention that the numbers on the scale should be a very small concern for you.  It is AWESOME that you are losing inches!  There are a lot of factors that can cause the numbers on the scale to change or not change.  The time of day (morning/evening), the time of the month (for pre-menopausal women), the location of the scale, and the type/amount of clothing you have on all play a role in what the scale will read even if it is the same scale.  I would place a very, very small amount of significance in what the scale says, the most important thing is that you are losing inches which probably means that you are losing body fat which is what REALLY matters.
