Question
Hi Bonnie,

I am currently 3 months post partum with my 2nd child.  I am 5'2" and about 140lbs (I never weigh myself...I go by how I look and my clothes).  I have always done a combo of weight training and cardio (not while pregnant though) and have recently switched to pilates (just for a change).  Question....I HATE my arms...I feel they are too muscular and which is really the best workout for me to lose weight and slim down my arms?  Especially after a workout, they look huge and I am small!  After my 1st child, I got back to a happy weight with just 2x a week weight training....do you think I will lose weight with pilates?  Of course, I am watching my diet as well.

Thanks so much,
Joann

Answer
Hi Joann,
Thank you for your question.
Congratulations on the birth of your 2nd child.
Pilates will help you to get a long, lean look.
Stick with weight training,2-3 times per week-if you lift lighter weight for more repititions, that will help to tone and define your arms.
Also do Pilates 2-3 times per week-if you combine weight training, cardiovascular and Pilates-you should be able to get your arms to look more toned not muscular.
Thank You,
Good Luck,
Bonnie
