QUESTION: Hi. How much cardio should a person do? I think I heard once that it should be at least 30 minutes, 5 times a week. Is that still the case? Thanks

You should do cardio exercises 4-5 times per week for 30-45 minutes-making sure that you are getting your heart rate up.

The amount of calories burned on an elliptical machine will vary depending upon the users weight-the resistance of the machine-the intensity and the amount of time spent exercising.There have been reports of some people burning over 700 calories in one hour with  hi intensity.
