I HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH A TRAINER AND WANT TO LOOSE WEIGHT. I AM 51Y/ WF BODY FAT 47.1% AND WT 234 HT 5'5 AND
HEALTHY. I HAVE BEEN DOING CARDIO DAILY WHATEVER HE TELLS ME TO DO. BIKING,WALKING ETC- RESISTANCE IS TWICE WEEKLY FOR 1 HOUR AND 20LBS WEIGHTS AND BALL EXERCISE ETC. SHOULD I BE SO SORE FOR 48 HOURS AFTERWARDS I CAN HARDLY MOVE. I AM SOME SNALLER BUT, REALLY NO WEIGHT LOSS BEEN AT IT FOR 2 MONTHS. CLOTHES DOWN 1 SIZE.

Answer
Hi Shirley,
It is typical for a beginning exerciser to feel sore for a few days after working out-you will feel less sore as time goes on.
Since your clothes are smaller-you are losing fat and gaining muscle-muscle is less dense than fat.
If you were to check your bodyfat % now-it will probably be less than it was when you first had it checked 2 months ago.
Thank You,
Bonnie
