Question
Hello,
My question is, I am a fit person all my life. I have a baby who is now 16mths I started doing low impact aerobics in April, 2 to 3 times a week. Gradually I have increased duration and level of, first with 2 lb weights on arms and legs, then just 2 months ago I started to do a bit more high impact with it. But all this time when I am about 30 mins in my face gets red. I don't feel it, my kids tell me. Is there something I am missing or not doing right. It happens even without the weights when I do more high impact. My age is 40. Also, My heart rate remains in range throughout.
Thank You, Trish

Answer
Hello Trish,
Most peoples faces become red upon exertion-generally it is not problematic. If you become dizzy or nauseous while exercising-that usually means that you are exerting yourself too much.
Since your heart rate is is in its proper range throughout exercising-it is probably no reason to worry about your face getting red.
Thank You,
Bonnie
