Question
I am 46, 5'4 142lbs.  I work fulltime from home doing billing.  I have about 1 hour to spare per day to exercise.  I live in an area with alot of icy snow so walking outside right now does not work.  I have a Leslie Sansone walking tape 4 mile and 5 mile and the Jillian Michaelas 30 day Shred, 30 minute circuit training tape
and I use a tape called Chicometrics which is a bunch of leg an stomach exercises.  I am always wondering if one exercise if better than the other.  Should I just do the walking tape everyday, it is an hour long or is the 30 minute circuit better for toning and weight loss.  I would like to lose 10 pounda.  I am a pretty careful eater.  Right now I do the walking tape 3 days a week and the 30 day shred and Chicometrics 2 days a week?  What do you think?

Answer
Hi Gayla-
It sounds like you are doing great!  The walking tape sounds like it is great cardio which is definitely necessary for weight loss so keep doing it.  The Chicometrics sounds like a good toning tape, but does it hit all muscle groups or just legs and stomach?  If it doesn't, maybe the Jillian Michaels tape does hit all muscle groups?  Also, add some variety to the walking tape so that it is not the only thing you're doing for cardio.  Sounds like you are on the right track!

Thanks for the question.
