Question
I use to walk on ground, it is comfortable also, now i am planning to buy a stationary bike to reduce my flab on my thighs and waist becoz my thought is that it will be more effective than walking. As i am having rheumatic pains in my legs long back, now i am worried which type of exercise suits me more, walking on a ground or working on a stationary bicycle? Does this bicycle  effect my knees?

Answer
Hi Spandana,
Both walking and using a stationary bicycle are effective. Bicycles usually do not effect the knees.Watch your nutrition also-more protein and carbohydrates-less fat and sodium.Drink about a gallon of water each day.
Thank You,
Good Luck,
Bonnie
