Question
Hi,
Thank you for your time.
I try to walk 2-1/2 miles 5-7 days a week
I heard if arm weights are used while walking its an aerobic workout. I am 55 & 125 lbs. What size weights are best for me?
Do you recommend a brand that is best?
Look forward to your reply.

Answer
Hi Lee-
Walking alone (without weights) is a cardiovascular-type activity; adding weights will enhance your experience by increasing the intensity and you will burn a few more calories.  I would recommend very light weights (no more than 4 lbs).  The specific brand doesn't matter too much, but if you can find the kind that have 'handles', these would work best for walking.  If you can't find them, no big deal, just use any light hand weights.

Hope this helps, thanks for the question.
