Question
Hi,
Thank you for your time.
I try to walk 2-1/2 miles 5-7 days a week
I heard if arm weights are used while walking its an aerobic workout. I am 55 & 125 lbs. What size weights are best for me?
Do you recommend a brand that is best?
Look forward to your reply.

Answer
Walking IS an aerobic workout.  Walking with weights is unlikely to give you more cardio benefit. To increase the benefit, increase your walking pace until you can't sustain that pace, then walk normally while you recover.  Do this periodically throughout the duration of your walk.  It will increase your cardiovascular fitness, burn more calories, and you'll be done quicker.  Walking with weights can possibly lead to shoulder joint discomfort/injury, which is why it's not generally recommended to do for the average person.
Glad you're motivated to walk.  Hope this helps.
