Question
Hi Kim!
I need to work on losing my calf muscles. They're just simply TOO bulky. What workouts are best for my calves? And perhaps my thighs? I want to lose the muscle NOT GAIN more bulk!
Please help Kim!!!!!!

Answer
Hi William, there really isn't an exercise you can do to lose muscle, but you can avoid heavy strength training that will cause you to gain muscle.  When you lose weight you will lose both fat and lean muscle mass.  If you avoid eating a lot of protein this will help minimize your bodies' attempts to build muscle but it won't necessarily minimize the muscle size.   Focus on cardiovascular activities which will help you lose excess weight including fat and lean muscle.

I hope this helps, thanks for the question.
