Question
hello, i would ask few things about stamina. 2 months ago in a bleep test my stamina was 10.2 i think that quite good but, i have been smoking sheesha and i have notice a drop of stamina but not a dramtic drop. im estimating in a bleep test my stamina would right now be 9.3, this is a guess. now you see how much i think i have dropped. so what my question is that if you hav had high stamina but has recently dropped due to smoking but lets say now you stop smoking and start exercising again would you be able to bring your stamina back up to 10.2???

Answer
Jay,

The Bleep Test measures maximum oxygen uptake which can be improved through exercise training. Since factors such as smoking can lead to a drop in maximum oxygen uptake, if you stop smoking and begin your training program you should see an increase.

Hope this helps,

Brandon
