Hello Bonnie,

I'm a freelance writer who's writing an article titled, "Plateau Busters," and I need a quotes from a professional. If you're in agreement,I'll need your permission to quote you in my article.
I know that you're a personal trainer, boot camp trainer, etc, but do you have any other credentials? Do you have a website I can refer to?

Anyway, here are my questions.

In what ways can you explain,is the best way to bust through a weight loss pleteau?

Are there any cetain types of different exercises you could suggest?

Thank you for your question.
One effective way to bust thru a plateau is to ask yourself "why"-
why am I exercising?
why am I eating correcty?
You have to "peel the onion" so to speak and ask yourself why you are exercising and eating correctly.
If you know that the benefits of exercising and eating correctly are:
less stress
less health problems
being a role model for your children,spouse,friends and co-workers,
etc-you will keep working out and not give up.
Some ways to bust thru a plateau are to:
change the location of where you workout
change the time of your workout
workout using different implements-for instance if you only do bodyweight exercises-start using weights,etc.
There are numerous exercises that can be used:
curls
pressdowns
rows
squats
lunges
lateral steps
crunches
twists
etc.
