Question
Thank you Bonnie for getting back to me so quickly.

I have a few more questions I need your help on. I'm sorry, I should have asked you these questions the last time.

1. What can you do if you've lost your motivation? What's the best way to get it back?

2. Describe briefly what can you can do if you've set limiations that are too high?

3. How can you overcome boredom when working out? What's the best way to overcome this obstacle?

4. Why do some exercisers set there expectations too high? What can you do to lower those standards to a reasonable goal so you're not putting additonal pressure on yourself?

Thanks again.

Answer
Hi Debbie,
If you have lost your motivation-a good way to get it back is to keep asking yourself why are you exercising and eating correctly-if you think about what can and has happened to people who do not exercise and eat right-that should motivate you.
If your limitations are set too high-you need to recalculate them.
There are different ways to combat boredom:
change the location of your workouts
change the equipment that you use
workout with friends if you workout alone
listen to music,tv,radio when you are working out.
It is just nature for some exercisers to set their expectation high-our society wants the quick fix now.
You have to evaluate everything-the workouts-external factors-nutrition,etc and make sure that your goals are not outlandish-for ex-losing 20lbs in 30 days-set reasonalbe goals and reward yourself for achieving them.
Thank you,
Any more questions-feel free to ask.
Good luck with your article.
