Question
I have been trying to lose weight recently, started in march and have lost only 22lbs. I have been doing wii sports activ since July as well as doing weight watchers. I am concerned that sports active, which is mostly strength training isn't enough to have sufficient fat loss. Do I need more cardio to really see weight loss? I have an elliptical at home, but I'm not sure how much time I need on it to really see results. Currently I may lose 1-2 lbs in a wk and then gain it back, so many wks things are plateauing. I just want to see consistent results and I feel I'm not working out right.

Answer
Hi Chris,
You need an equal amount of both cardio- weight training-and proper nutrition to lose weight.
For most people-4 cardio workouts -30-40 minutes each are sufficient.
Make sure that when you are on the elliptical, you are getting your haert rate up and keep it up for at least 25 consectutive minutes.
