Question
I have very very tight calf muscles and sore arm muscles.
I have tingling in my legs, feet and hands which is all caused
from pinced nerves and 2 herniated discs which was operated
on 3 weeks ago, still have the muscle cramps.
Whenever I start to do stretching exercises my muscles hurt
like they are being ripped apart so I stop.
Is there anything I can do to exercise or any machines that would be easy to use.
I'm 60 and totally out of shape need to loose about 25lbs
and tighten up some.
Thanks

Answer
hi Debbie,
you should talk with your surgeon or physical therapist about the pain that you are feeling when you stretch.
The best thing that I could tell you is maybe walking and swimming would not hurt you-you could also get some resistance bands and use them to workout with.
