Question
How many times per week and how many minutes per workout do experts recommend that you perform some type of aerobic activity?

Answer
Recommendations are as follows:
high-intensity aerobic activity 3x weekly, about 20 mins minimum
or
moderate-intensity aerobic activity 5x weekly, about 30-40 minutes minimum.

Any aerobic activity is better than no activity at all, even if it doesn't meet the minimum requirements listed above/
