Question Hi Ken-
We have decided to purchase some fitness equipment for our 9-unit condominium to set up a small fitness room, but we don't know where to start. We want low-impact cardio equipment that's sturdy, but doesn't have to be as rugged as the stuff at 24hr Fitness- an eliptical and recumbant bike, maybe? I've seen some equipment on-line in the thousands- I think our budget is a bit humbler than that... maybe $500 per machine is what I was thinking, but I'm admittedly naive! Can you make any recommendations for us? Is used equipment worth a try? Can you recommend sources as well?
Thanks so much!
-Laura
Answer Laura,
Thanks for your email. Glad you're getting some exercise equipment. I wouldn't be able to suggest or recommend specific items without knowing a lot more info about your building, location, tenants, exercise room, budget, et.al.
I'd suggest to visit:
You can get cost comparisons as well as select by $ amount you want to spend and get descriptions of the various equipment and manufacturers.
Hope this helps a little. And, please USE whatever equipment you will be getting! Okay?
