Question
Hello,

I have been taking step class for about 8 months, usually 4-5 times a week. Recently, when i step down with my left leg, it wants to kick my right leg. It seems I cannot control it. Have you ever heard of this or what could cause this? I have completely stop taking step classes and started swimming but I miss taking class.

Thank you,
Melody

Answer
Hi,

I haven't heard of this happening before.  I'm not sure what you mean that your left leg wants to kick your right leg when you step down.

Watch your feet as you step up and down, and make sure you place them in the right position as you step.  Perhaps you're just not aware of where you're right leg is and that is why you keep hitting it with your left leg.

Hope this helps.
