Question Hello there,
I am 19 years old and about 5 years ago i lost 127 pounds. During that time i was doing weight training with a personal trainer, cardio and eating right. Since then, i have had loose skin on my tummy, sides, and boobies. It is frustrating because i lift 6 days a week, do cardio and eat right, but i simply cannot get rid of the skin. I have been told bulking would work, and i have been told that losing weight would work, but i would prefer to not loose weight because i enjoy lifting heavy. Hopefully you can give me some solutions for this because it is my dream to be a personal trainer, and i really want to get rid of this skin before i pursure that goal. Thanks
Answer Hi,
Unless you have been obese, it may not be "extra" skin you carry but some extraneous fat. Without seeing your body, I cannot decifer what would be effective for you. I would continue to watch your diet and do cardio and strength training exercise.
Don't let imperfections in your physique discourage you from personal training. A flawless body is not a prerequist. Knowledge is. You just need to know how to bring out the best in others - including yourself. The finest trainers rarely have the finest bodies. But they know how to produce them.
To build a strong body, build a strong body of knowledge.
