Question
Hello, I am a 24 y/o man trying to lose some body fat. I have been using a Total Gym on a regular basis for about a month now and have noticed a little more bulge to my muscles but not much fat loss. Any advice on good exercises for some fat loss? Jogging, walking, jumping jacks, ect.? Also, is running in place a good exercise for this at all? Any help would be great. Thank you.

Answer
Hello-
You are on the right track.  Any type of cardiovascular activity will promote fat loss.  Try everything you mentioned:  Jumping jacks, jogging, walking, jump rope, aerobic dancing (try some videos), biking and hiking to name a few.  Also, if you have access to stairs, try going up and down them at a brisk pace.  Running in place is ok too, although this can get pretty boring so play some music in the background ; )

I hope this helps, thanks for the question.
